The Italian Lab consists of Ramos Bassols and Martin Solem. Ramos Bassols, both industrial designers who offer the public a personal vision on contemporary design looking for the balance between form, function and aesthetics. Martin Solem, is a Norwegian designer. He describes his work: “As a designer I always try to be innovative, but I might be a bit old fashioned in my thoughts of design. For me a product has to be realistic and useful to be called good design. What I try to do is to combine these basic thoughts with new innovative ideas”
